Busy Busy Busy!

We had a busy weekend. We went to the dog fair and hung out at the table with the Bama Bully people and their dogs. It was a lot of fun. I need some work on my manners, but I was okay once I got used to all of the activity around me. I got to meet Sully and Pebbles and I came home with a nice big crate and some cow ears and porky sticks to share with Sally.

Momma P says I rode in the car really well. I curled up in the seat with my head across the console and my nose on her leg. Every once in a while I sat up and looked around but there wasn't anything interesting to see so I slept most of the way.

Yesterday I mostly laid around the house, but we went outside and played ball while Daddy P cooked on the grill. I saw a squirrel and stood on my back legs under the tree trying to get a better look.

I can't wait to see what happens this week!

Peanut Butter!

I'm such a happy boy!

What?

Squirrel!!!!

I know that squirrel is still up there....

Road Trip!

Momma P says we're going to Huntsville to the HOTC Dog Fair tomorrow! I'm not sure what that is, but she's been packing up a bag with treats and a bowl in it for me and she made sure the seatbelt harness fit me, so I'm real excited about going. I can't wait to see the folks from Bama Bully Rescue and the other dogs! Maybe someone there will see me and notice what a handsome guy I am and want to apply to adopt me!

Smothered in Awesomesauce!

That's what Momma P says about me!She says it's because I come when I'm called, I'm not afraid of the vacuum (and I don't try to eat it either) and I'll go outside in the rain. I'm also a mighty bug-catcher! She and Daddy S have started letting me on the couch sometimes and I'm learning that I can only get up there when I'm invited.

Here's tonight's picture:

I love rawhides!

My First Days At Home

The first few days here have been great and I'm learning the rules really fast. I have to go in my crate at night and when no one's home and I have to go in there when I eat or when my foster family is eating. That's okay though because I get treats and toys in my crate. I especially love pig ears - yum! I'm not allowed on the couch yet, Momma P says I have to wait until I'm invited up so I lay down on the floor near her and Daddy S.

I found out my sister's name is Sally. She's older than me and very pretty. She likes to run around the backyard and bark. She likes chew bones as much as me but she takes them off and hides them to eat later. We're not allowed to play together yet, but I think she and I are going to be good friends.

Oh! There are two other people here! Brady and Rowan. They love to pet me and rub my belly and tell me how cute I am. They take me outside and play ball with me and I run and run and run!

Every morning, Momma P lets me out of my crate and takes me outside. It's still almost dark out so I watch for squirrels and rabbits while she takes me around the yard. We go back inside and I follow her around while she gets ready to leave. Sometimes she stops and plays tug with me for a minute, but mostly she just pets me and scratches my belly. Before she leaves for work, she gives me my food bowl in my crate and tells me to be a good boy. I am all day long! The two girls take me outside when they come home and they let me dig and play in the yard. I love it! The dirt here is nice and I can hear moles down there just waiting to be caught!

When Momma P comes home, Sally and I run to the door to tell her hello. She pets us both and scratches us and talks to us about her day. While she's in the kitchen, I lay there on the cool floor and watch her. I don't beg for anything and I try real hard to stay out of the way. When she's on the computer, I lay next to her with my chew bone. She was making something the other night and I thought I would see what she was doing. She laughed at me and said she couldn't sew with my head on the table. She gave me a pig ear and I laid down next to her to eat it.

It's almost dinner time, so I'm going to go see what Momma P's fixed us to eat.

Here are a couple pictures.

This is Sally:

(I like to lay in front of the fan.)

Momma Says I'm A Handsome Boy!

Wow!

I arrived at my new foster parents' home late Saturday night after a long day. I was sad to leave Ms. Amery at Unleashed Inn but was really excited about getting to go live in a home. The people from Bama Bully Rescue were super nice to me all day even if I did get a little tired.

I slept in the backseat of Momma P's car with my head in her lap almost all the way home. We stopped once so I could go out and Momma P, Daddy S and Ms. Lourie could get something to drink. Momma P had something called coffee that smelled really bad, but she seemed to like it.

When we were almost home, I could tell and sat up to sniff and look around. It was dark so I couldn't see much, but it smelled really good. When we got out of the car, I stretched my legs in the front yard while Momma P went inside. She came out with another dog! I didn't know I was going to have a sister! I wasn't allowed to sniff her or anything, but I bet she's really nice even though I heard Momma P call her a "grumpy old lady," whatever that means.

Daddy S took me through the house and out to the backyard. It's big! I got excited and pulled on the leash some, but I tried to be good. I visited a couple trees and he walked me all over the yard.

We went back in the house and Momma P fixed me a bowl of food and some water. I had to go in my crate to eat, but that's okay. I have a nice bed in there and a blanket. Momma P said she made my bed and it does smell like her some. I'm going to try not to chew on it. She gave me one of my toys and tucked me in for the night. I was a good boy and slept all night without being restless - I was really tired after my busy day.

I can't wait to tell you about my next few days and show you some pictures of me, but that has to wait a little while.
